WELCOME ROB CASTOR AND HELLO, TEXAS​

IES is pleased to announce that Rob Castor has joined our team and will be leading our newest IES office in Austin, Texas. With offices in Santa Clara, CA and Atlanta, GA, IES now has three locations to serve our clients. Our new office will allow us to continue our business expansion into Austin’s burgeoning tech hub, as well as the southwest. We are delighted to have Rob join IES during this exciting time! Rob is a licensed Professional Engineer with 15 years of process design, environmental compliance, and high-purity HPM system ownership experience. Rob’s unique perspective from both a system owner and engineering design point-of-view makes for a valuable addition to the IES team. Please join us in welcoming Rob to IES!

Ackerman-Practicon Engineering Staff Joins IES Team

We are pleased to announce the engineering team from Ackerman-Practicon has joined IES.  We welcome Principal Electrical Engineer David Kung and Principal Mechanical Engineer Brian Shaw, along with Carlos Ortega, Fegin Yee and Tracy Trinh.  These experienced professionals will expand IES’ engineering services for current and future clients within the educational, industrial, laboratory and data center markets.  We are happy to welcome these new members to the IES team!

IES Completes MEP & Process Design for
Sacramento Ag Products

“Sac-Ag,” a joint venture between Hydrite Chemical & Thatcher Company, will manufacture bisulfates & thiosulfates for industrial and agriculture markets with start-up commencing in November, 2021.

Partnering with design-build contractor Furst Construction, and architect VR Design, the IES Team provided complete Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Chemical Process Engineering design.

Janssen/Ethicon NewStart project

IES Awarded Janssen/Ethicon NewStart Project

IES is looking forward to continuing our support of Janssen and Ethicon by providing commissioning and qualification support for their Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose (ORC) hemostatic products. The project will install a process that manufacturers a key raw material, ensuring Ethicon’s ability to continue to provide products supporting surgical care. This is so important in these critical times, with Ethicon providing surgical supplies throughout the world.
