Sacramento Ag Products MEP & Process Design

IES, acting as prime consultant, conducted a complete physical Hazardous Materials Inventory Survey of HSE, HSW and MSB buildings at the Parnassus campus facility.
Promega Facility and Production Upgrades
IES designed the facility upgrades and manufacturing suites for Promega’s manufacturing operations in San Luis Obispo, California. In addition to production upgrades, the facility underwent significant safety and building improvements.
DuPont, Inc. Lab Expansion
The Lab Expansion project was a large expansion of the fermentation, recovery, and granulation processes for DuPont. An entirely new Suite was created for 14 Liter Small Scale Recovery processes.
Purple Star Cannabis Facilities
IES designed two separate buildings for cannabis extraction, growth, cultivation, packaging and processing located in San Francisco, CA.
BioSearch Technologies Oligo Synthesis Lab
IES provided comprehensive and complete construction documents, permitting support, and construction support for the installation of bulk solvent distribution and waste collection system for Biosearch’s high throughput oligonucleotide synthesis.
UC Santa Cruz Thin Film & Materials Science Lab
As MEP and Hazmat consultants, IES provided detailed engineering design and code consulting service for the MOCVD and Materials Science Laboratory expansion. Our engineering team led the effort in designing specialty gas storage, distribution and abatement systems and Industrial Ventilation systems in compliance with the latest codes and ordinances and in conformance with the Campus Fire Marshal’s requirements.
UC Davis Kemper Engineering & Physics Lab
Install Seki Plasma CVD Reactor within Kemper Hall engineering lab and SMI MOCVD Reactor in Chemistry Annex building to study III-nitride film growth and the kinetic and thermodynamic factors of the growth, as well as other applications and processes.

IES designed all new state-of the-art Process Piping, Process Mechanical, Specialty & Hazardous Gases and Industrial Ventilation Systems for a new Class-10 and Class-1000 R&D Cleanroom facility as well as tool hook up for the entire.
Genencor DuPont Industrial Bioscience Biolsoprene Synthesis
The BioIsoprene™ project is a joint effort between DuPont, Genencor and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company using biological processes to produce precursor compounds for synthetic rubber manufacturing.
UC Berkeley CITRIS Nanotechnology Center
IES designed the all-new state-of the-art H6-Occupancy Nanotechnology Clean room. Facility associated with the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) at U.C. Berkeley.
Confidential Client in Silicon Valley Wastewater Treatment and Recycling
IES designed a wastewater treatment plant for two separate sites including vacuum distillation systems. One of the sites included a recycled water system to send the recovered water to the cooling tower for reuse.

MGC Pure Chemicals specializes in purification of bulk hydrogen peroxide and ammonium hydroxide. With a fast-track design-build approach the MPC design team created a fully operational new manufacturing plant in Killeen, Texas in just over a year.
